Bear Lake

 Off to bear lake with the Chatwins. We had fun at the lake on the wave runners and in the pool. We ate yummy food and played games.

So we are all moved in to our new house :) I am not done unpaking everything so I will post pictures of our house soon. So since we have a TON more space we have been looking for furniture to fill it. My aunt Susie has been finding some great steals on KSL classifieds so we decided to check it out. We found this great

entertainment center for 25.00 - I don't think that the pictures do it justice. So I am loving the new entertainment center. Our next find was a dryer for 50.00 I am excited because in our old apartment we only had a washer. I am in heaven!!!!!! I am loving all the space and living close to family.- and the dishwasher and carpet.

Intubation and Moving

Ok, so first of all bear with me. It was late last night when this all went down so just smile at the picture - it is also from my phone. (I really did not wear the goggles, that was just for show :) I was at work last night and I intubated my first baby!!!!! (i.e. put the breathing tube down into there lungs) I have tried a few times with out success. It was very frustrating!!! So when the opportunity arose last night I was excited and scared, but I had the "A" team helping me (a.k.a. Team Heidi & Heidi). Thanks gals. Any who I was so excited I just had to tell some one. It was 2 am when this happend so I sent mother and Jordan a Text along with this picture!!!! I know I still have lots to learn and won"t get every intubation I try, but it is such a nice feeling to get the FIRST one out of the way.


On another note, Jordan and I closed on our house today!!!! (A day late but we don't need to get into that....it was a bad day yesterday) We will start the move tomorrow. I have Makall here helping me pack today so that is nice. - Thanks Makall for the help. I am so excited to be moving!!!! Yahoo. Pictures soon to come.

Breaking Dawn................DONE

It is official!!!! I finished Breaking Dawn yesterday morning. ( since it has only been out for 3days) It came out Friday night at midnight. Jordan and I were camping up at Echo with the Squire family, so Alysia and I went on a little adventure to Park City and got our books at midnight. There was however a crazy girl on a mission when we got there. She was running in the store and I was afraid we would have to give her a beat down if there was only 3 books left. ( we had to get three becasue Cheryce was a party pooper and did not come with us. We forgive you though :) ) But we were in luck there was plenty of books left. Thanks Alysia for the adventure. I won't spoil it for any one I do howevery expect that after every one finishes we can all chat about it.- Yay Alysia ( again) for finishing it already, we talked about it yesterday. Makall and Jenna are done to but they are at girl’s camp till Friday. I will just say I loved it and was not disappointed. Good luck in your reading every one. Now what should I read next??? Any Suggestions.

A new talent.....

So I have discovered a new talent. It was my niece Ada's 2nd birthday on July 22nd. We celebrated her birthday on the 24th. She LOVES Elmo!!! Jordan and I got her a “Potty Time with Elmo” video that she loves (We gave it to her during their move to keep her entertained). Any who, Al got an Elmo cake pan from Cheryce. It was a little intense but I told Al we were up to the challenge. Jordan and I went over early so I could help with the cake. Al had already cooked it and I borrowed my mom's cake tips. We started mixing up the frosting and following all the directions on the pan. I was a little worried about how it would turn out. But, to my sister Katie’s surprise, I was very patient and took my time. It was not hard, just a little teadious to make all the stars. The cake turned out great and Ada loved it. I really enjoyed making the cake; Al and I are thinking about taking a cake class since we had so much fun. Thanks to Mother for letting me borrow her cake stuff. Thanks to Al for being up to the challenge and the words of encouragment. A special thats to Ada for having a birthday :)
