Happy Birthday Katie

Today my Kate turns the big 23!!!! – Wow that means I am getting old to0 :) Lots of things have changed for Kate in the past year.

So Kate here is to the good old times. Kate, Jord and I have always had good times. We miss her now that she lives in Oregon !!!!!!

Last year I made Kate this for her birthday…….. It was an amazing Peanut butter desert thing….. If you lived closed Kate I would make you a cake today :)

-But maybe I will still make this cake and just eat it myself…..

Kate’s life has changed so much. She got married last June, and now lives in Oregon.

Her life is still up for more HUGE changes this year as she will become a MOM :) Here are the Prego sisters.

Kate LOVES Brynlee and misses her lots –I am sure. She will be a great mom.

Hope your birthday is a good one ( and that the throwing up is kept to a minimum. ) Here is to getting older and becoming more of a real grown-up every day!!!! ( it is kind of fun some days)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

A few days with out a Daddy……..

Last wed Jordan left for his annual “Man-cation” with the boys. Every year they go watch the NCAA basketball, so this year they went to Tucson, AZ. This is a Squire family tradition. So Wed me and Boo dropped Jord, Tyler, and Kevin off at the airport. At first Brynlee did not mind that her daddy was gone. We made some bows at a friends house. Then went to listen to Makall at solo/ensemble and then the musical. Brynlee LOVED the musical. So after intermission we decided to head home. She started saying “ home, my daddy” I kept telling her that daddy was on a trip. She said “oh”

Look how big she is getting. I loved her St. Patrick's day out fit. So cute…..

We watched LOTS of shows at Grandma Linda’s. Aunt Jen is in town so we played with her A LOT. Brynlee got her first hair cut while daddy was away.

We went out to eat lots. Pizza with my cousins one night and crown burger another. Brynlee would always wave at the camera and say “Cheese” when I would take a picture to send to daddy.

On Saturday night all us Squire girls got together for dinner and watched some basketball. We have gone to Park city in the past and went shopping while the boys were away…. but with 13 kids between us that is not possible any more. Thanks Nancy for the Yummy food. It was “warm” for a few minutes so me and Boo went to swing. She loved it.

Brynlee is FINALLY getting her 2 front teeth AND a molar on the back (weird), so she has not been a happy girl. I also think she may have a little cold on top of it because she has a wicked cough. So this is how she wanted to spend most of Friday night and Saturday. Chillin' with her Grandmas.

Sunday we were suppose to pick the boys up at 1pm but their flight got delayed out of Tucson which caused them to miss their connection from Denver. We are lucky they got home at all. Brynlee and I chilled at grandma Linda's for a while before going and getting them.

Brynlee was SO funny. her shoe had fallen off so she decided to put it on her head. She would just laugh and laugh. she is such a funny girl.

We are SO SO SO SO glad to have Daddy back home. We missed him lots. He had a good time with the boys and got to watch some fun games.

Good-Bye Mullet…

Yesterday we decided to snip off Brynlee’s mullet. Danette just happened to be at mothers so I had her cut it off. Brynlee was SO tiered, so I don’t think she really cared about getting it cut, but the video shows differently…..

I got a phone call in the middle of the video ( I was taking it on my phone) so here is the rest…..

I miss the little curl at the bottom of her hair but it looks so much nicer :)

Cute Brynlee…….

I just have some cute pictures of Brynlee that I HAVE to share. She is so funny.

Her hair is FINALLY growing and looks so cute in piggy tales. She LOVES her tooth brush.

…And loves to brush my teeth too.

Her top two teeth are finally coming in so I think that is why she LOVES the tooth brush- just for chewing on it.

This is my new favorite picture of her ( well at least for today) I just think she is the cutest thing in the whole world :) – I am a little bias.

She thinks graham crackers are “Cookies” so no one tell her different :) Boy does she LOVE to eat them.

She is getting more creative in her playing these days. For example Pooh Bear had to be buckled IN the seat WITH the shoes AND the bib so she could share her cookie.

She also loves to have me dress her baby, pooh bear or the stuffed duck in her cloths.- Complete with socks and bows.

She loves to “go” so the other days she got my keys out of my purse and ran to the door to try and open it so we could go. It was so cute.

She LOVES to laugh. and is always full of giggles and smiles.

Her new favorite seat…. the mommy seat. She always wants me to carry her. She is always saying “up mommy” well she is getting heavier every day and my back is not liking to bend over. So I will usually just plop down on the floor and sit by her, she is a good kid and doesn't mind not being carried around. ( deuce likes it also, she does not like being sat on.)

I bought Brynlee these cute pj’s at Kohl’s the other day ( LOVE THAT PLACE!!!!!) Believe it or not they are size 12 and still too big. ( I figure since she grows so slow I better stop getting her PJ’s that snap and zip because –lets face it- she will probably fit in these until she is potty trained :) – her footy PJ’s she wears are size 6months and the arms are just a little short.

She looks so SO SO big in these new PJ’s. These ones have mermaids on them so she calls them her Arial PJ’s. Here is a video of her playing’ with her table toy. She thinks that if she hits the book in the center ( which does NOTHING when hit) then the music will start. It is funny to watch her. ( Just ignore “the office” on the TV )

She is such a cute little girl and growing up SO fast. I just love her and LOVE being her mom!!!!!

So tender hearted……

I have NO idea where Brynlee got this from. The funniest things make her upset. Her eyes well up with tears and her lip pokes out and she pouts. It is the cutest thing. She is such a tender hearted little girl.

This is the other day when she was eating a Oreo and the 2 haves came apart. She was very upset.

The Drowsy Chaperone.

My little sister Makall is in the Layton High school production of The drowsy Chaperone. We went and saw it on Friday night. My dad is in charge of the concessions. So he and my mom are there EVERY night. They said they would just watch Brynlee in the foyer during the show. ( it is a short show it started at 7 and was over about 8:30) Mother decided to venture to the balcony with Brynlee and see what she did. She LOVED it!!!!! She was dancing her little heart out!!!! She LOVES musicals ( wonder were she got that from)

Mother was in charge of all the Costumes so she has been way busy since school started with the show. It was fun to see it all come together!!! ( now I know why they had Asian costumes)

This was a great show!!! If you get a chance to go see it I recommend it!! It was funny and the music was great. I think ALL musicals should be like this one. There is the “old man in the Chair” who is the narrator and he did a great job. It made the show so much easier to follow :) It was fun to see some old friends from our LHS theater days.

– Brynlee and I will be going again because ALL she talks about is Call’s show. Every time we get in the car she is like “ go …..call’s show….” She is going to be VERY sad when it is over.

Fun day with cousins

So Ty and AL went to Las Vegas to watch the Mountain west conference basketball tournament. Nancy watched the girls for them. She had to end up working on Thursday so I had the girls. Brynlee LOVES Ada!!!!! Kate and Brynlee are getting along better every day, and they did well together. I was worried that Brynlee would freak our about the girls playing with her toys but she did GREAT!!!!!

I had to be at squire’s at 715 (way to early for this night girl) . So Mother came over because Brynlee sleeps till at least 9. Kate was already up when I got there and Ada was up soon after. So the girls got ready and we went over to my house.

Breakfast time!!!! Yummy French toast sticks.

Kate ate like 6 !!!! she LOVED them.

We decided to go to the park and play since the weather was nice. I enlisted the help of MY grandma Chatwin to come with us. The girls loved Brynlee’s other- other Grandma. ( as Ada called her)

Then it was off the the play ground. Ada and Kate were GREAT!!!! They loved playing. Brynlee LOVED the slide ( surprise surprise)

She says” uh-oh” when she gets sand on her hands. She is all girl.
