Sum up of April….

I can’t believe that it is already May. WE have a busy May coming up full of Birthdays ( Avery will be one and I will be 26:) )

Here is a sum up of our April.

We enjoyed the warm days and went on wagon rides. THE girls LOVE the wagon Kim and Nancy got them for Christmas.

Brynlee is just getting so big !!! She is letting me do her hair “ like a big girl”

We have been working a TON in the back yard. The previous owners started putting in a sprinkling system in the back. – Needless to say our yard is NOT level and in no way was ready for sprinklers. So Jordan has been digging up ALL the pipe. – I did help him until her found a snake, then I was done.

Hopefully we hear from the Landscaper this week and get things moving on the yard :)

The girls have loved playing out side. Brynlee loves finding rocks and picking dandy lions. Avery was crawling SO funny on the grass…..

Avery is getting so big so fast. The is saying more words “ daddy, momma, hello, hi, hiya and go” she also is pointing at EVERY thing and saying ‘a-sat” – or what's that. So I tell her and she giggles and points to something else. She also LOVES to put the phone - or any thing- up to her ear and say “ hi”

She had her first ice cream cone and was in heaven!!!!!

These girls are such cute friends- when Brynlee is in the mood to share that is :)

Avery LOVES climbing up on the fire place and when ever Brynlee see’s her sitting there she runs over and sits by her. So now when Avery sits up there she screams until some one comes and sits by her.

Jordan and I FINALLY made it to the Cannery. We have been saving $$ and finally bought a TON of food storage. I would have felt so TERRIBLE if there had been a disaster and we had $$ set aside for food and had none. We also have PLENTY of space to store food storage now so we have NO excuse. So we went last week with Papa Kim.

We caned ALL this wheat( and a few apple slices)

And bought all this pre-packaged stuff the cannery already had.

It was fun and now I fell so much better knowing we have it! – I hope we don’t ever have to use it :)

I made all these bows with a few friends from work. We had a baby shower for Becky – another girl we work with- and decided her little girl needed to have “just a few” bows. We had a blast making them and Becky loved them. ( thanks for letting us over take your house Sherri :) the kids always have so much fun)

Finally, On Saturday I went to a Mother Daughter relief society thing with my mom. ( and Jenna and Makall –not in the picture)

The stake invited every one to come but they did not tell them who the speak was……. Luck for us it was Sister Ann Dibbs. She is the 2nd counselor in the General YW presidency!!!!(– and also President Monson’s Daughter.)

The meeting was SO SO SO good. She answered SO many of my prayers that day.

I got the opportunity to hug her after the meeting and thanks her for telling me just what I needed to hear. It was such a sweet moment- one I will never forget!!! ( I am crying just thinking about it)

– The Church is SO true and I love days when every thing just clicks and the spirit is so strong! I am SO grateful to be a member of the church.

So that was our April. I can’t believe how fast time is going!

Daddy Daughter lunch

Papa Kim took us all on a Daddy daughter lunch on Friday. It was so much fun. We went to Sill’s in Layton. We all got breakfast – and Brynlee got meat and fries-. Brynlee was SO excited to sit by Papa Kim. She talked about it for days. “ I sit by Papa Kim at the restaurant” “ I get juice with Papa Kim at the restaurant” “ I eat with Papa Kim at the restaurant” – ya I think she LOVES her Papa Kim. Avery was good – (thanks Nancy for holding AND feeding her.) until she hit her heat on the table :( poor girl.

We really freaked out waitress out when we told her that this was not ALL the grand kids just 11, – 6 were not there. She was like WOW.

11 Months old??????

Were has the time gone. I can’t believe that I am planning my babies 1st birthday!!!!! Time goes so fast.

Avery is 11 months old an SO cute and fun.

This girls can eat! She loves PIZZA, goldfish,cheerios, pasta, bread and chocolate. – basically ANY thing and EVERY thing.

Here she is eating an ENTIRE piece of pizza a few weeks ago, I was very impressed. Well last night she ate almost 2 entire pieces. She is a squire …we LOVE our pizza.

She loves French fries too…..

We have been trying to take advantage of the nice weather, Avery LOVES being outside. She loves the swings at the park ( I have not let her slide since the incident….. maybe soon)

Avery is very social and will smile and laugh at ANY one who gives he attention. She s good at church and loves it when others hold her.

Avery loves to play with cousin Blake. We are sure gin g to miss them when they move to Michigan in a few months.

This is usually how there playing ends up. Avery is a little bully and takes ALL Blake's toys and likes to make him cry.

Avery has always been a great sleeper- lucky for me :) she still sleeps great. We put her down at 830 or so and she will sleep until at least 9 am. – ya CRAZY lucky I know. She just looked SO bug in her crib so I had to take a picture.

She goes crazy n there some times and was just laughing one morning. This is how I found her….. Silly girl

Most of the time Brynlee loves to play with Avery. Brynlee loves to say “ Come on sister crawl with me” Avery follows behind her. It is so cute.

Brynlee is good at entertaining her self up in the toy room ( and is doing SO good with potty training-knock on wood- that I am not nervous to let her lay up stairs un supervised) She now says “ mom Avery wants to play in my room” SO I let them play. – I will sit I there or out in the hall and let the sister play. They are so cute. I hope these days continue, I know that as Avery gets more mobile and independent we will have many more melt downs of” she is looking at me….or That is mine” SO I am enjoying this while I lasts.

Avery is crawling like crazy. Yesterday she pulled herself up to the couch and stood up ( she pulls up on any thing but ALWAYS has kneeled) I have been holding her hands and helping her to walk. She is just getting so big. I am sure walking is in our future.

Avery loves her daddy.

On Friday the 13th I stuck my finger in her mouth and discovered she is cutting her 1st tooth :) – it is to small to get a picture but I will soon.

She is also a little chatter box. She says Dada – and finally MAMA :) , uh-oh is by far her favorite. She says Go but I don’t think she knows what it means. She signs more and all done- she also says all done. She loves to wave and clap. We also just discovered she can blow kisses….SO cute

Brynlee taught her to shake her head when we say uh-uh I will have to get a video it is so funny.

I just cant get enough of these cheeks……. I LOVE them

How you are already 11 months I don’t know……..

Avery you are so special to me. I love you so much and you are such a sweet girl. It seems that you lays know when I need a snuggle or a slobbery kiss.

Fancy Nancy

Last month (march10th) My awesome MIL had her second Fancy Nancy Party. The girls loved it. Brynlee had a melt down so we had to leave early

Easter 2012…

In our ward we had fast and testimony meeting on Easter! It was such a great day. It is such a comfort to know that the savior suffered for me so that I can return to my heavenly father, and be with my family FOREVER. I just love Easter!!!! ( I found this on a great blog I follow )

We colored eggs on Saturday. Brynlee was very excited.

Avery woke up just as we were finishing up.

We headed to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt Saturday night.

Sunday Brynlee woke up and was so excited to see what the Easter bunny brought her….

There was a note from the bunny telling her to follow the jelly bean trail to her basket.

She had to eat a few…..

of course…just throw the clothes to the side and find the toy…. :)

She was so SO excited when she saw that she had her own brush, curling iron, straightener and blow dryer.

She had to find all the eggs the Easter bunny hide. This year I thought of a fun way to help us remember the true meaning of Easter. a few weeks before Easter we had a lesson in FHE about the resurrection. We talked about how the tomb was empty because Jesus was resurrected. So I showed Brynlee a bag full of empty Easter eggs. I told her that any time (over the next few weeks till Easter) when ever she did some thing nice- or something Jesus would do- She could put an empty egg in a basket. On Easter the Easter bunny would fill all the eggs with candy for her.

I thought this might be a little to big for her…but she LOVED it. She would share with Avery and say “Mom I get to put an egg in the basket” Also I would be able to remind her that if she stopped making a bad choice ( not sharing or taking Avery's toy) She could put an egg in the basket. We would be at the store and she would share her snack with Avery and exclaim “ MOM I get to put an egg in the basket” She is just getting SO big.
