Baby Boy Update

I am now 20+ weeks. Time is flying by with this pregnancy. I stopped feeling sick-all day every day at about 14 weeks.

We had our “Big” ultrasound this past week and Baby boy looks AWESOME!!! He loves to have his hand up by his face- just like all the other kids so he definitely is a Squire. Jordan sleeps with his arm over his head.

He is a wiggly little boy and I love it. The girls aren't quiet patient enough to feel him kick, but soon they will be and he will be bigger and easier to feel. I am feeling really good –just tired but that is the norm around here. The girls LOVE to talk about the “new brother” and pray every day for the “Baby in mommy's tummy” it is so sweet. We have taught Grant how to say brother, it is so sweet.

Brynlee is becoming quite the artist and now draws Avery and herself holding “the boys” as she calls them. Brynlee is holding Grant, –he is the one with the spikey hair, Avery is holding the new brother.

I think I am about the same size as with the others, but who really knows :)

New Curlers and Ice-Cream

These kids LIVE out side.

We got some new curlers and tried them out. Brynlee loved them

Avery only wanted 4 curlers in and I wasn’t sure if her hair was long enough for them to work. But they worked great.

We did some finger painting on a rainy afternoon.

Grant still has reflux pretty bad and is on Prevacid every day. It gets SO much worse when he eats chocolate so I hardly ever give it to him. I made some chocolate chip cookies for Makall and gave him a cookie, he was in HEAVEN….. He kept saying “cheese” so I had to keep taking pictures.

The girls loved them too.

I got called off work so we decided to head to the library then DQ for ice-cream. Jordan came home early so he could have the kiddos since mother is in Michigan. So it was fun to hang out.

We had a fun afternoon with Daddy. We are grateful for the rain, but we want the nice weather back soon.

Brynlee’s bike skills and Baby chicks

We got Brynlee a balance bike last summer. We didn’t really work to much with her until now. She LOVES it and is getting really good at it. In a few weeks we will buy her a “big bike” and skip training wheels.

Avery has been practicing as well :)

Brynlee loves to ride in the neighbors drive way.- I think they would die if we let them go down our crazy steep driveway…. She is getting better each day. She can now steer better and go on the side walk instead of end on the grass.

My neighbor raises chickens so she has baby chicks. We took the kiddos over to see them. They were a little scared at first but warmed up.

Grant was afraid…..

Avery was the brave one:) she did great.

Easter 2014

The Easter Bunny comes to our house on Saturday. So the girls were so excited. We started out the month of April with a Family Home evening lesson on Easter and the resurrection. I have the empty Easter eggs in a bag and each time I see the girls doing something kind, something without being asked and something that Jesus would want them to do they get an egg in the basket. On the flip side I can remove eggs for not so good behavior :)  Then the Easter bunny fills all those eggs with candy and hides them. We have done this for 2 years now and I LOVE it. The girls are so kind and help each other so they don’t lose eggs.

Mr. sleepy-head slept in so he got his basket and ball after he got up :) – I didn’t feel guilty about him missing the egg hunt since he still is not walking- or crawling :)

Sunday the kiddos were all ready for church in their outfits. I LOVE Brynlee and Avery’s dresses.
