End of April

We made  it through April and got Addison here. Avery has been doing GREAT with her "computer school" Upstart is a great program. She is not as motivated as Brynlee and it takes some work to get her to do it most days but once she starts she does great. She is learning to read and is so proud of herself.

Avery also LOVES her music class. I get to go every other week with her and it is fun to see her learn.

The usual suspects in the usual spot. Cups and food must stay on the hard floor so this is where they usually camp out during snack time.

Dance party with Aunt Kall

We had a little cookie baking  contest at the Squires. We had to make a dozen chocolate chip and a dozen of our choice. Well I couldn't pass this up- since the contest was 2 days after had Addison- I made my chocolate chip cookies early and froze the dough. ( this way i could enjoy them since I can't eat chocolate while nursing) I also made orange creamsicle cookies.  Here are the chocolate chip cookies thawing.

Addison enjoyed the party with us and got to met more family.

ALL the cookies. This was a great idea because we all go to eat SO MANY COOKIES. The boys all judged the cookies- the boys had to be blind folded to judge the chocolate chip ones

We had to head out early before the votes were counted. I got a phone call informing me my chocolate chip cookies WON and my orange creamsicle cookies tied for 1st place with Cheryce's carmel filled snickerdoodles. SWEET

We celebrated Grandpa Parke's 80th birthday. We made a brief appearance ( after driving around for AN HOUR) The kids sang grandpa a song.

Baby Addison at home

 Grandma Linda flew in Thursday afternoon and we met her at home on our way home from the hospital.

 The kids sure love her.

 Nat had to come see her also.

 These are Jordan's most favorite jammies. We have missed all the little girl clothes.

 First bath at home by the Master Bather.

 All clean and wanting to be wrapped up.

 Much  happier.

 We had a graduation party at Kim and Nancy's for Rachelle. Addison got lots of good snuggle time with the adults. Sorry cousins, give her a few more weeks.

 Poor Alysia is sick, good thing Uncle Kevin wasn't.

 Every one loves snuggling this baby.

 She was awake for  a while.

 We thought she was asleep. Jordan and I were just talking and she was wide awake just staring at him.

 Grant is so sweet.

We are in HEAVEN with this sweet princess.

Hospital Time

 After we moved to postpartum Kim and Nancy brought the kids up to meet their new sister. 

They were so excited.

 Talmage was SO good I was nervous about how he would handle the changes. He was so excited.

 Grant LOVES his new baby sister.

 Talmage only poked her eye once so I will lake that as a win. He was touching her head so soft and saying baby.

 Grant wanted to come see me. Love this boy.

 Brynlee came a little later. She had a music class. She was SO EXCITED

 Makall was so excited. She was a great help with the kids.

 We had plenty of people who couldn't wait to see sweet Addison.

 Such a sleepy girl. She did so good on her first night. I was able to get a few good hours of sleep so that was nice. I just wanted to snuggle her all night. 

 There is nothing better than snuggling a new baby

 It was nice to spend some one-on-one time with Addison.

 Kim and Nancy sent these beautiful flowers. Gerber Daisies are my Favorite.

 We got the all clear from our doctors to head home. I like to sleep in my own bed. Jordan getting her all ready
