Dentist and Basketball

We went to our 6 month cleaning at the dentist. We LOVE our dentist he is AWESOME!!!! This was Grant’s first visit. Mother came to help :)

Talmage was very good :)

First up Brynlee. SO brave for the x rays.

Grant was very interested from a distance.

He sat still and LOVED the “ball and Sun” on the wall.

Avery was next. She was also brave for the x-rays.

She however wasn’t a very patient patient and we went to time out in the car for a few minutes.

Finally she was ready when it was her turn.

Now don’t let these pictures fool you- Avery was the photographer. Grant did AMAZING!!!  He let Dr Scott brush his teeth and check them out.

He earned his token.

All the kids picked new bouncy balls :)  and NO CAVITIES!!! Yahoo!!!

That evening Jordan and I went to the Utah basketball game. Mother watched the kiddos - Thank you :)

We had some yummy BBQ- Papa Kim will love it for sure :)

Dinner didn’t take as long as we thought …so…. we were there like an hour early…..

And then went and used a few of Tyler's food coupons and got frozen lemonade, a churro, and nachos :)

It was a WAY fun Game :) The upgrades to the arena are sweet :)

Hope those boys have fun in Portland watching basketball :) Al and I have lots of shopping and baking to do while they are gone  :)

Grant is 2 !!!!!!

Well the time has come for my handsome baby boy to turn 2 and no longer be a baby. Grant loves letters so we decided to do an alphabet party. I had the girls help me with the sign. They wrote letters all over the blue paper.

The night before his birthday he got a post card from Grandma Nancy and Papa Kim. He was so excited.

Good morning Birthday Boy!!!

He is such a  funny boy.

We hung letters up every where and he was in heaven. We had “cake” for breakfast. – really muffins but he calls them cake.

While the sister were at school we went and ran a few errands. He got an Olaf balloon :)

After lunch- which was more cake- muffins :)  it was quiet time.

I had some good helpers help me with the cake and cupcakes.

I LOVE how the cake turned out.

After dinner, PIZZA, we put up the “hounce house”

And every one bounced to their heart's content. We missed lots of cousins but it was nice that the bounce house wasn’t too crowded and the little boys weren’t too afraid  :)

New beds

We started looking for new beds for the girls. They both share a room and have been in these cure toddler beds. Grant is in the crib and Talmage is in the pack-n-play in our room.

After a few days of looking we were not very impressed with anything. Leave it to AMAZON to take good care of us :)

We found these AWESOME beds that also can be bunk beds. We decided not to do the bunk beds right now, but are excited that is an option in the future if we want. So after a few boxes came- we bought the bed, mattresses, and sheets all from AMAZON- Jordan put them together one night.

Well he got them done and it was 11ish so we decided to put the kids in them.

Brynlee was out and slept through bringing her new bed in, being moved and taking her old bed out. She woke up after it was all over and was super excited.

Avery woke up and watched us move Brynlee. Here she was sleeping.

The next morning it was the hangout spot after breakfast :)

We decided, why not put Grant in the toddler bed

He does great.- The only problem is that he falls out of bed-ASLEEP and rolls around. I don’t know how he made it to the top corner UNDER the toddler bed in the middle of the night..he was crying and I couldn’t figure out where he was…. We put the other toddler bed mattress under the bed to prevent that from happening again. Well the next night the same thing happened –only he ended up under the crib.

Silly boy!! We have since given him a smaller pillow and he hasn’t fallen out of bed since.

These kids are getting too big. We are planning on moving Talmage soon, now that he is all but over his croup and is back to his normal sleeping all night happy self.
