Flowers and family time

I have been working the Saturday morning breakfast shift. Avery has been coming and helping me. She does so much cleaning and then is learning to run the cash register. She is a great helper. 

A friend was out of town and could not enjoy her daffodils, so she asked us to go cute them and distribute them to neighbors. We had a great time. 

The kids each got a bunch and we prayed about who we should take them to. 

After the flower delivery we walked around the temple. 

I can't wait until these flowers bloom

Jordan taught a scratch class to the kids. 

They had so much fun. 

These 2 littles got some tablet time.

The kids had no idea we had this memory foam on our bed. They played on it ALL DAY Sunday. It was funny. 

I catered 6 dozen cinnamon rolls for the youth at church. The bishop had a special meeting with them and wanted to give them treats. Brynlee and Avery were great helpers with the frosting.- AND it was fast Sunday so they are even bigger troopers. 

We played Apples to Apples. 

We received some Harry Potter costumes from a neighbor and Brynlee was scaring kids with the Voldemort mask. 

Monday we bought this climbing dome from a neighbor down the street. We carried it the block and half home. The kids were in heaven, 

I just love these kids. They are so much fun

They sure love there dad. There favorite song to sing for Family Home Evening is I am so glad when daddy comes home

Spencer got to come with me to the Eye Dr. I am getting contacts. 

It is so weird no to wear glasses 

We thn went to Hy-Vee. Spencer loves it  here. He has so many friends. Patty is one of his favorites. 

He thought it was so funny to put his Yogurt in his cup holder. 

 

Fun Week

Spencer adn I sure love our daily marble track time. 

We had our first tornado siren of the year. There was so much thunder lightning and RAIN. We headed to the basement. Here the kids are watching the storm tracker on Jordan's lap top. There was a small tornado that touched down in Fort Madison. 

I cleaned Addy's room all up and finally hung her pictures on the wall. 

We went on a walk and had to check out this giant pit. They are excavating a site here. They think it  may be a tomb Joseph Smith built. It looks like it is part of the tunnel system under the city to me. SO who knows. 

I bough the girls Easter dresses. When they came they were to short. So I sewed a riffle on the bottom. It turned out great. 

We love our walks to the women's garden. 

More marble mornings this week 

We took the kids on an adventure. This is the stage they preform many out door shows on. WE ran around and had races. 

The trees are so beautiful 

We love all our family time 

Sunday full of crafts and goals

We had a great Sunday. We sur missed Jordan, but we made the best of it. Brynlee wanted an omelet for breakfast. 

Then I had all the kids color there "letters" These are for our behavior chart. There letter gets moved up and they receive privilege's if they are making good choices, and the letter goes down, privileges are lost as they make not so good choices.  

Brynlee has set some great goals. The new Children and Youth program is great. I love helping the kids set goals in the 4 areas ( Spiritual, social, intellectual and physical) I like my goals I m setting too. Brynlee wanted to memorize some scriptures. So she writes them on these small posters and hangs them on her bed room door. Each time she walks bye it she reads it. She is doing a great job. 

Add enjoyed some craft time. 

We attended our broadcast for church. Since Jordan was not here we called Grandpa Ken and he came over and administered the sacrament to us. 

I love church with these kids. 

We ate our Peanut butter fudge egg. 

Talmage panted his bird house. 

Dinner time- Turkey loaf. It was so good. 

Then a game of sequence.  I sure love these kiddos.
