Syracuse Parade

We headed to the Syracuse parade on Saturday. It is one of our favorite traditions. It wasn’t very hot this year so that was nice.

We got our FREE snow cones from the IHC clinic. That is one of the best parts.

Waiting for the parade. They had Madbrook donuts- and free donut coupons, soccer balls, Frisbee's, otter pops, water, and flowers.

Grant was clapping and cheering  from the shade with Nash :)

After the Parade we decided to head over to the park and check out what they had.

Grant and I watched. He was so happy. I just can’t get enough of this boy.

Grant was SO excited just to watch. He was cheering and waving and laughing.

Last was the “roller coaster”

They had to stop half way through and get the 2 kids that were crying off.

The girls were so brave and loved it.

We went and saw the booth that our dentist put on. The girls spun the prize wheel and got cookies and fruit snacks.

Ready to head home. I told them to give me a thumbs up….That is what Avery did :)

It was such a fun day. We are even more excited for the 4th :)

Grant- 16 months old

Grant is growing up SO fast. It is good since he will be a big brother in a few months, but bad because he is not my baby any more.

This boy can eat- once you get him to taste it. He LOVES pb and j and quesadillas. He does not like pasta, but did eat spaghetti last week. He of course loves sweet things but I have yet to get him to taste a popsicle, I think it is just too cold. 

He loves to swing with his sisters, They will usually take turns pushing him and he likes it. He says “WHEEEEE”  He is not a fan of the slide.

He is still pretty content to just sit and watch everything that is going on around him. He loves Jake and the Never-land Pirates and Frozen.

He is a good sport on all of our adventures. Especially at the splash pad. He just sits and watches the kids play.

He is a chatty little boy. He loves to talk and SING, He will say any word you ask him to. He loves Mama, Dada, Tank you, more, cup, all done, and of course NO.  He loves to sing Frozen and always surprises us by how many primary songs he knows. He will just start singing along in the car, and on Sundays when he comes to Primary with me.

He loves the water table and likes dumping all the water on the grass.

He loves his toys and always wants to play. He will share his toys with me and say “ tank you” everytime he hands them to me.

He has a HUGE noggin, I went to Target to find him a boy swim hat and NONE of the fit his melon…. so he will continue to use his sister's :)

He is a great sleeper. He goes down for bed at 8 ish and sleeps till 8:30 in the morning.  He takes one good nap from usually 12:30 till 3:30. Recently he has learned how to sit up in his bed, but can’t lay back down so we have to go lay him back down and he is back asleep. Silly boy. Here he is wiped out after swimming.

He is FINALLY MOVING!!!!! Yahoo!!!! I have confidence that he will be walking by the time the new baby comes :) He cruises along the couch and his army crawl has turned into a real crawls. He will walk pushing his little car but is too chicken to walk :)

He is doing so much better at transitioning from the couch to the table back to the couch :)

He even pulled himself up to the train table the other day :) He loves being able to move in the toy room.

His favorite toy is the closet door, I am waiting for some fingers to get pinched….. it is only a matter of time…

He is always so happy and easy going. He has the same temperament as his dad.  :) well most of the time unless Avery is pushing his buttons then he is SCREAMING. 

we buzzed his hair and he looks WAY too big :) 

Me and my Boy, I just can’t get enough of him.

Love you Grant you are growing up WAY too fast but you make me SO happy and bring such happiness to our family. We are so blessed you are ours.
