A year in the life of a Squire……

We have had a great year. Here is a summary.

January

In January Jordan put in a new floor with help from our dad’s. It looks great and we love it.

Jordan Celebrated his 24th birthday.

Brynlee just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

February

We headed to La Verkin for our annual trip with the Squire’s. it was a blast and Brynlee loved it.

March

Brynlee went to her first Utes sporting event. We went to a gymnastics meet.

April

We celebrated Brynlee’s first Easter. She had a little cold but still loved it.

May

6 Months OLD!!!! How did Brynlee get so big. She is such a princess.

Morgan celebrated her 24th birthday with  a trip to Smucker’s stars on ice. It was lots of fun.

We took a vacation to Las Vegas and La Verkin with Ty and Al and the girls. Brynlee LOVED the pool and being with her cousins.

June

A quick 14 hour drive to Oregon to move Katie, then we turned a round and drove 14 hours back. Brynlee did great in the car and loved the adventure.

Katie married Kendall in June.

June also was the start of boating!!! Brynlee LOVED the beach.

 

July

We headed up to Bear Lake with the Squire family for the 4th of July. Kim and Nancy got this AWESOME house for us to stay in. We had a blast- as always :)

Nancy got her Masters degree!!!! Way to go!!!

Boo and I went for the day to Tony Grove with the Parke family. Boo loved it.

Boo had her first trip to the ZOO :)

Brynlee LOVED summer time…. Swimming and popsicles were the best.

 

August

We had a little “Staycation” in SLC.

Fun at Cherry Hill. Brynlee is a fish….

September

St George adventure with the Chatwin’s.

October

Welcome to Virginia :) Boo loved the plane ride. I loved spending a whole week with JORDAN :)- ( and the rest of the fam :)

November

Brynlee and I headed to Oregon to see Kate and Kendall for a week. Lots of fun.

We have been so blessed this year and are so grateful for our wonderful friends and family. Thanks every one for making this year great :)

It has been so much fun to see Brynlee grow and learn EVERY day. Being parents is the best. I can’t believe how big she already is… She is SO much fun.

Next year will have lots more adventures. A new baby girl, and graduated Jordan!!!!- Just to name a few

Best Christmas surprise

On Monday I got a phone call from my sister Kate informing me that they would be surprising everyone and coming for Christmas !!!!

There original plan was to arrive late wed night. Well car trouble before they planned to leave Oregon set there plans back a little. They arrived early Friday morning and crashed at our house before heading to Blackfoot Idaho for Christmas eve. I went to work Christmas eve and was so excited for the surprise. A friend gave me the idea to wrap Kate up in a box and have mother open it. I was sold on the idea!!!!

So on Christmas Kate and Kendall arrived at 8 am at our house. and We wrapped Kate up before my family came over at 9.

Here is the priceless video!!! Every one was so excited!!! they had no idea!!! There was lots of screaming and crying.

It was lots of  fun to spend time with the WHOLE family on Christmas. Kate and Kendall get to stay till the 31st !!! We are so excited!!!!

Brynlee and Santa

Saturday was Christmas party day. We had Jordan’s mom’s family’s (Lisonbee) in the morning and Jordan's dad’s family's that night.

Santa always makes an appearance at the Lisonbee party. He has a bag full of presents, one for each child. I have been looking forward to this for weeks. I wanted to see how Brynlee would do with Santa.

Santa was great. He sang songs with the kids and Brynlee kept saying “Ho Ho Ho”. She ran right up there and just was watching him.

She was not afraid just a little hesitant……

She just stared at him. ……..

She kept whispering Ho Ho Ho. ….. I love that she gives Santa a high 5 at the end.

Santa even brought a present for Baby Baby Deuce. So I accepted it on her behalf :)

It was a great party with yummy food.
