Home from La Verkin - a stop at Cove Fort

Um..... Only in La Verkin would you be able to sneak a picture of this man and his parrot on his shoulder at a gas station. The kids thought this was hilarious.
We made a stop at Grandma Squire's grave and sang her a few primary songs.

Then we hit the road. We stopped in Cedar City at- you guessed it another park for a picnic and playing. We also wend and saw the new Cedar City Temple.
It was so windy

This park was like a MAZE.
We then stopped at Cove Fort. We have driven past this too many times to count.
I wish I had gotten more pictures. The kids were ENTHRALLED. They asked so many questions and answered ALL the questions they were asked. It was so much fun. We learned so much. It is definitely worth a visit. You could spend 20 mins or 2 hours there.
The amazing sister missionary there was from Farmington and loved the kids. They loved her also. They all got a sucker and this pioneer toy.
They were great until we hit Lagoon and then the littlest 2 lost their marbles.

It was such a fun trip. We always have so much fun.

La Verkin - Day 3

Day 3 started with  a walk at the botanical gardens. There were suppose to be fish in these tanks, but it was so dirty we couldn't see.
It was really pretty and we found lots of cool plants.

Then it was off to the Children's Museum. The kids LOVE this place
Daddy-o "engineering" some unbreakable towers.
Our new best friend.

On the job training

Born for the stage

Grant loves to see how things work. He was kind of grossed out at this arm but thought it was awesome

A tantrum instead of story time
After the museum it was time for a Taco Bell picnic and more swimming.
Oh this boy.....

Man I live this boy.

We had a great visit to the St George Temple Visitors Center. We watched a new installment of Meet the Mormons. It was "the horseman" I was so excited. The horseman is Jeff Wadman and he grew up around the corner and was in my ward. It was really neat. The kids had a great time.

Oh I LOVE these kids and I LOVE the temple.
Crazy faces
Brynlee took this one of me and the Boy- and a few kids.
Spencer slept.
Next it was off to the Winter home of Brigham Young. It was so neat to learn about the 2nd president of the church in these latter days. The kids had a great time. This home has such an amazing Spirit. It was so solemn and reverent to know that a Prophet lived here and walked these halls.

A telegraph machine.
The senior missionary couple were so kind and knew so much.
Brynlee got to play the piano, it was cool.
Ice cream for dinner while we waited for the pizza we ordered to be done. Our favorite pizza place is in a parking lot in Hurricane. It is a brick oven pizza place. It is AMAZING!!!
I think everyone liked the ice cream.

Spencer was in a sugar coma I think.

Off to a different park for pizza and playing.

Oh these kids. We have so much fun. We always come up with some fun games to play.
