I should not have been surprised that this boy was up at the usual time despite the late night. He is a creature of habit and getting up to read your scriptures is a good habit to continue.
We had another great day out on the stage in the morning. Brynlee with her friends.
I love all the time I get to spend with this bearded guy.
After a few hours we have a break and a district meeting in the shade.
We love talking about what we are learning and how we are practicing the 5 "L's"
It is also a great time for pictures.
Addy has so many friends. Rachel Andelin is one of her favorites. She was a Young performing missionary last year and we adore her.
Learning this scene and then practiving it was one of the most memorable experianced of my life to date. The spirit was tangable and teaers filled my eyes. Ray Robibson form the priesthood departmnet talked too us about wriiting the music and the beautiful Reliief SOciety theme that is woven throught out the entiure show. It is like how we, the women of the relief society are woven ini ever thing the church does every day.
It was so powerful and an experience I will NEVER forget. These pictures will always be reminders to me of this moment.
After a spiritually POWERFUL morning rehearsal we had lunch, checked on the Red front and then headed to the " Movement with Joy" rehearsal out at the pageant building.
The dancing on the british pageant is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
Twinning!!!!!
Then after dinner it was back to the evening rehersal. We brought out giant umbrella for sone shade.
Running the British pageant.
We were able to have a group of the missionaries serving here in NAuvoo come practice with us. At the end of the British pageant they have the missionaries all sing " Called to Serve" It is a wonderful experience.
Addy with Sister Gooch.
Hanging out while we wait for our cue with Elder Taylor who played Hyrum Smith.
These are the feelings I wrote after this cast meeting at the end of British:
It is Thursday and we almost have BOTH pageants blocked, run through and under our belts..... THAT is a MIRACLE. .......
A process to get the temple up while we sing praise to the man after the death of Joseph and Hyrum Smith
I get to stand by Emma
I definitely could not sing so it's a good this we are singing with a track.
.
The spirit is amazing here as we all practice the 5 "L's" we learned in our monthly meetings leading up to pageant: Love, Listen, Lead, Lift, and Learn.
.
This is a piece of Zion on earth.
