We had our annual Squire gingerbread house making :) We LOVE this and look forward to it every year.
Here is Brynlee, Avery, Kate and Chloe.
Me and beautiful Lauren
Some more pictures of the cute kiddos.
Oh Brynlee. She LOVE putting the candy on and Avery loved eating the candy.
Chloe was feeding Brynlee is was so cute.
The whole gang. Just ignore that Jord and I are the only adults in the picture. I did NOT trust my crazy girls to hold there house on there own. :) -we only lost 2 houses this year so that was good :)
Jordan and his gingerbread barn.
Thanks Squire family :) it was a blast as always. Thanks Nancy for making all the houses.
We had our annual Chatwin family Christmas party on the 8th. There is always yummy food and SO many treats. Avery was sad when she got caught trying to eat her 3rd cookie……
Brynlee loved all the treats.
Aunt Call and Brynlee
Me and the bearded boy…..
Jenna took the girls over to play the games and make some crafts.
Thanks for the fun party- Especially Rona and Jamie!!! It was lots of fun.
Last week we headed to festival of the trees. These cute girls loved playing at grandma Linda’s before we headed out.
I love the gingerbread houses. Brynlee had a few favorites…
The It’s a Small World house.
And Rapunzel’s Tower
Jordan liked the Hobbit ones :)
The girls LOVED the trees. They were so good and had SO much fun.
We got Cookies at the end..who wouldn’t love that?
This girl was in HEAVEN with her cookie.
Then in the kids area they got “elf wands” Brynlee quickly renamed them Fairy wands.
This is such a fun tradition. We missed not going with the rest of the squire’ family but schedules are crazy at Christmas so we are just glad we made it down there.
So on Saturday we headed down to see the lights. My uncle was in town from Colorado and wanted to see them. Jordan had SOTW so my dad was nice enough to drive his car down for him so he could spend some more time with the girls. We went to City creek for dinner. it was CRAZY!!!!! There was SO SO SO many people. After McDonalds we headed over to the lights. it was CRAZY packed with people. Jordan headed to his show and we met up with my family. The girls loved it.
Avery was not a huge fan of the stroller and Brynlee was not a fan of other kids playing with her grandma:) Good thing Pop Pop and Aunt call were there too.
Brynlee’s favorite thing. She saw a tree with out lights and our conversation proceeded as follows :
Brynlee: “ Mom why doesn’t that tree have lights?”
Me: “ I don’t know, I think it is just a naked tree.”
Brynlee: “ a NAKED tree?”- “ That is so silly mommy”
Every tree we saw after that that had no lights she reminded us “ look there is another naked tree”
They liked all the different Nativity’s
Brynlee and her warm chocolate. She is just so big.
Avery was ready to head home before the rest of us. So I resorted to the “emergency binky” in my purse. She was content.
I can’t believe how many people there were!!! – It was nice that it was not freezing and wet. I am sure we will head down again on another night Jordan has the show so the girls can show daddy the tree’s they liked.
