Our story goes on

 We look forward to this as much as pageant. Our story goes on is a beautiful musical review about our lives. 

I love sharing it with so many people I LOVE 

ELder DUnford plays the accompany ment for the ENTIRE SHOW!!!!! He is so talented. 

I SOBBED.  I love this show so much. It is so powerful. 

Here is the end of the show. : 

"What will we remember most when we the back of the stories of our lives it won't be.... what happened in Eden prairie or the train ride to Walnut junction it won't even be the detours to Wellsburg or Bramals farm it will be the love that grows in us for all our brothers and sisters 

For all around us, this is the love of God and he has given it to us in the perfect life and the atoning sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ. We have felt that love tonight. And by the grace of God it will continue

On our journeys of no end

It's the story of many chapters

A tale that never ends

For we will live forever in our Fathers home again.

One life, one light, one generation of light. One father one family beloved in his sight

So we come in cloud of glory from a place we all have been,

Each one much write his story, on this journey of no beginning and no end."

These words are true. We each are on our own journey, writing our own story. Each story, each of our lives do not beginning when we are born here and end when we pass on. Our lives are really journeys with no beginning and no end. I know this is true. These truths bring me such peace and comfort. I know it is all made possible through our loving SAvior Jesus Christ.

 You wouldn't think that the kids would look forward to setting up hundreds of chairs, but they totally do. Each summer they set up the pageant chairs. Helping set up the chairs has become a tradition for Jordan and the littles. 

They were great helpers with Jordan.

Grant is a great helper and is learning alot.

missionary lunch and Martyrdom commemoration

Every 6 weeks we cater for the Iowa city mission. They have a "sprint trip." ALl missionaries going home come on a trip to Nauvoo and go to the temple. We provide there lunch. Well since summer is SO BUSY, I hosted there lunch at my home instead of the church. It was very special and I will always remember it. 

 

June 27th was the commemoration of the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith. It is held in Carthage. We always get Dairy Queen and sit and listen, It is ALWAYS a powerful program full of the spirit. 

I am so grateful for these 2 men and all they sacrificed so I could have the restored gospel of Jesus christ in my life.

I love that we get to share this experiance every year. Our testimonies of our Savior Jesus christ are strengthened so much as we learn and remember Joseph smith and all he accomplished as God's Prophet.

Addy and I went to a show and she was chosen as porter rockwell. She looked like she was about ti cry the ENTIRE time but said she had fun.

 We had a great YW activity watching Sunset By the Mississippi, until the storm came in. 

always swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's pool. 

It is so fun to see friends that coe to visit Nauvoo. The Taylors are awesome. We went to high school with there son Courtney. Joran nad Coourtney have been friends since elementary school It was fun to visit with Jessie( courtney's younger brother)  and his  parents. 

My Canvas art CAME!!!!! I love this scriptureww so I made this word art and had it printed. This scriptuire is a great reminder that WE are incharge of our own testimonies. We need ot be evaluating our thoughts and actions and making sure they arein harmony whith the person we want to become.
