Lights at Temple Square

Last night we went and saw the lights at Temple Square. The girls and I rode the train down and met Jordan for dinner at Subway.

Brynlee had the meatballs off the meatball sub. She was in HEAVEN, this girl loves meat. I am sad we did not get a picture of Avery eating her oatmeal. Jordan fed her while I held her, it was an adventure.

Brynlee is confused…When ever you say lets take a picture I think she hears, "throw a tantrum and make the UGLIEST face possible……" :) – oh well, good memories.

We went to Deseret Book and saw there window display. It had a HUGE machine that was making gingerbread boys. Brynlee LOVED it. I got her a cookie (her 3rd one) and said hurry and eat him he is trying to run away. She said “I will bite his head”

Grandma rode the train home with us….. See, Brynlee can smile :)

It was SO SO SO cold but was still a fun time.

Decorating the Tree

Brynlee was not very interested when we decorated out tree ( I think it was all the toys distracting her) , but she was ALL over it at Grandmas. She loved finding ALL the Santa ornaments and putting them all together.

A Christmas Party

On back on the 10th Jordan had Savior of the World so the girls and I went to my parents ward party. Santa was there and Brynlee was so excited!! Makall is in Laytones (the high school singing group) and they preformed as well.

Ambush Christmas Caroling

ok this was one of the BEST things we have ever done!!!!! A few weeks ago at the squire’s Nancy asked Jordan to come and sing “the inn keeper” song (from the forgotten carols) for a lesson she was teaching. Rachelle made a comment how Christmas was not Christmas unless he sings that song, and she gets to hear it.  So we decided to go and have him sing it to her.

Now this was SO fun because she had NO idea we were coming. Cheryce did a little re-con and informed us that Rachelle would be home. So we loaded up the kids and headed out to Rachelle’s. She answered the door. I said we have a special Christmas treat for you- and it is NOT the popcorn.  I had brought her come Carmel corn.

That was Jordan’s queue, he turned the corner and burst into song. ( the entire song is like 5 min to here is the beginning and the end.

After singing Jordan just opened the door and walked away.

We thought for sure if Rachelle was holding Chloe Jordan could get her to cry on queue – when the songs says I heard a baby cry….. But no such luck. I guess she  is used to this crazy bearded man now.

It was so much fun!!!!! We think this may be a yearly tradition.

Gingerbread Man

Mother has been teaching Brynlee about the Gingerbread Mam. So they decided to make there own. Brynlee said “ gingerbread man no run away” So when they opened the oven Jenna and Makall had to stand guard at the door so he could not get our.

They baked the cookies one day then frosted them a few days later.

The finished people. The girls have Bows on our heads and bracelets on our hands. Daddy has 2 watches. She told us who each one was. “ this one’s Papa Kim” She is so funny.
