Mowing the Lawn

Before we sold our townhouse and moved in with the Squire's, Jordan had not mowed a lawn since we were married. (our apt in the village had no yard and our townhouse grass was maintained by others) As our rent payment Jordan mows the lawn. Brynlee LOVES to watch him every time we go outside and she sees the grass she says, “Daddy cutting the grass, Brynlee cut the grass a daddy.” Last week she took a little ride with him.

Avery and I chilling in the swing. She LOVES to chew on EVERYTHING!!!! I can’t believe how big she is getting already.

We LOVE living with Kim and Nancy!! – You guys are the BEST!!!

I am glad Jordan “enjoys” lawn mowing because he will get to do a lot of it at our NEW HOUSE!!!!! Yep that is right we found a house and close on Sept 13th (more to come about that later)!

A Giggling Baby Girl…….

Avery has been full of smile and Giggles lately. We finally got some on camera. ( thanks Cheryce for being the designated tickler)

This is basically the cutest things I have ever seen. I sure love this baby girl :)

A fun Squire Sunday

Sunday we had our bi-weekly dinner with the Squire family. These are ALWAYS a good time and a great start to the week. Avery and Chloe were in these super cute dresses Nancy gave them , so we HAD to get some cousin pictures.

We celebrated Rachelle and Tyler’s birthday. Jordan and I and Rachelle and Tucker got Tyler the  Worlds Largest Gummy Bear….. it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Tyler with his new gummy bear baby………..  it is 5 lbs and equals 1400 regular gummy bears. it is 6120 calories….Jordan found it on this website…

The first bite…….

Every one wanted a taste…..especially the kids. It was Very taste…..

Brynlee was afraid of the gummy bear ( she is also afraid of Tyler …so not a winning combo…..) She was just so cute.

Swimming with Pop Pop

On Wed it was my parents ward party at Surf-N-Swim. Brynlee was SO excited. She was especially excited to wear her  new suit. ( we are going to Newport Beach a 2 weeks and she needed a new suit)

Thanks dad for swimming with Brynlee. It was a fun Party!!!!! We are all very excited that Mother comes home TOMORROW we have missed her, especially Brynlee.

3 Months old…..

I can’t believe that my baby girl is 3 months old!!! Where has the time gone. She is such a sweet girl. She is still so easy going. She is always full of smiles and a few giggles.

She LOVES to play on her play mat. She likes the bumbo and swing also.

She is grabbing at everything now. She grabs your hand if it is near by, but mostly she grabs on to her clothes, her blanket, or the binkies.

She LOVES her big sister. She always smiles when she see’s her. They are already fun little friends.

Love you my sweet Avery. Keep growing.

“Avery Move”

This is Brynlee’s new favorite thing to say. Contrary to what you may think she does not want me to take Avery away.

Her new favorite pass time is playing with Avery on the play mat. Avery likes the mat, and is getting pretty good at hitting the toys.

Avery is usually very entertained by her toys. Brynlee usually is entertained by her other toys and does not care that Avery had her own toys near by. That is until Avery started being able to move the toys and make the music play. Then Brynlee was all over playing with.

Here is my smiling girl being SO big and playing with her toys.

Brynlee gets so excited. She ties to get as close to Avery as possible. She usually sits by Avery’s head and has a leg on each side of her so she feels like she is holding Avery between her legs. ( she had gotten up wright before I snapped the picture.)

 

A few days after the first video Brynlee realized she wanted to play with Avery. I admit I was a little nervous when Brynlee was hovering over Avery – cup in hand- swinging the toys like a crazy person, but Avery’s big smiles let me know she was ok with Brynlee totally invading her space.  ( Brynlee did make her cry once from all the noise. They were both on tears by the end and Brynlee usually tries not to make to much noise because she now knows it scares Avery)

I was  in the kitchen and the girls were playing on the mat. I heard some one hit the toys. Brynlee then said “ Avery move” I automatically thought Brynlee had hit the toy and wanted me to move Avery out of the way so she could go crazy. ( it is so funny that Brynlee wants to play with Avery’s baby toys and not her own…go figure) . Boy was I wrong. Brynlee was SO SO SO excited that Avery moved the toy all by her self. “ Avery move her self” I got this little video .

Brynlee did get a little frustrated when Avery would not move the toys on cue…. ( she is acting like a big sister already) My favorite part of the movie is when Brynlee starts to get sad when I ask her if I should move Avery off the mat. “ No stay” She LOVES her sister.

Brynlee also just LOVES it when I put Avery on the floor by her and her toys. Brynlee will show Avery all the animals in her barn and make the sounds for her. ( of course Avery could care less but Brynlee just loves her sister by her) I am very interested to see how Brynlee does in a few months when Avery starts taking the toys and playing with them. Hopefully she will love to share with Avery as much as she likes to sit by her.

Avery likes to chill in the Bumbo while Brynlee and I do puzzles. Brynlee is getting pretty good at this alphabet puzzle. We are trying to learn the difference between an “E” and a “B” she thinks they both are “B” for Brynlee.

These girls are so much fun!! We have fun every day and I just love playing with them. Brynlee is a great big sister, and Avery is very chill and ALWAYS has a HUGE smile for Brynlee. Especially when Brynlee says her name. 

More Cookies

On Sunday morning I was making homemade Oreo ice cream ( which was AMAZING!)for our Squire family desert. Brynlee wanted more cookies. She had to eat 5 bits of her French toast sticks before she got a cookie. She wanted the cookie “open” so I made it loose enough that she could “open” it her self. She was so excited.

She would not eat the cookie part – just the cream. I am glad she finally likes cookies. Until just recently she thought these Veggie crackers at my moms were cookies. She is so funny. She ate the cream out of 4 cookies.

In the back ground you can hear the Music and the spoken word from Mo-Tab. She LOVED it. “ More a Signing” she said all morning. She is such a funny girl and talks ALL the time. We sure love her.

Brynlee LOVES this orange blanket that Nancy made for Avery. She loves to be wrapped up like Avery. She will run over with the blanket and say “whap a Brynlee a blanket baby” Then she wants to lay in the bouncy chair or on the boppy on the couch. Baby oatmeal also has to lay by her. If Avery is in the bouncy chair she says “mommy, move a Avery, Brynlee’s turn” – I am impressed that she asks rather then try and move Avery herself. She also likes you to hold her like a baby when she is wrapped up. She is such a funny girl

Brynlee was NOT happy when we placed Avery in her baby’s bed. “No a Avery, out…..Oatmeal and Donut bed”

They are such fun girls. Brynlee is an awesome sister and LOVES it when I will lay Avery on the floor by her and her toys. She was playing with the barn and showing Avery all the animals and making the sounds. It was so cute.

Park party

Last week we went to the park with my friend Christy and her kids. It was so much fun. Usually Brynlee will play but I have to be right in her line of sight. This day was a whole new story. She was sliding on ALL the slides with out me having to catch her at the bottom. She was having a great time. We had a picnic and Brynlee was loving the twins' chicken nuggets more than her cottage cheese :) Thanks for sharing girls. Cassidy was a big help with Avery. It was such a fun morning.

Brynlee LOVES the park. She has never cared about the sand until we went to Willard Bay a few weeks ago. So when she realized that the park had sand to she was in HEAVEN. We are now learning that you can’t throw sand. She got sand all in her hair.

It was a fun morning and after nap time Brynlee kept talking about “the guys” (that is what she calls Christy’s boys.
