16 months old ….. WOW

I can’t believe my baby girl is 16 months old!!!!! –I am trying to call her a big girl now since she won't be the baby much longer.

She is SO much fun. She is getting so smart and so big. Here is a little update on her over the past few months.

Her vocabulary is getting HUGE. Her favorite words are:

-Purple, Two, pooh ( for Winnie the pooh), book, color, gaga (grandma), more, and cup. Oh and BABY!!!

He favorite toy at Grandma Linda's is the teapot. Here is a video of her dancing with it. She has become a little dancer lately.

She loves to watch “shows”, she loves to hold the remote and dance with it.

She always walks like this or has her hands tucked in the top of her pants like this. she is so funny

She is such a good eater. EVERYTHING has to be eaten with a fork. She is funny. I can’t feed her but I can put food on her fork and hand it to her. She says “elp mama” She also ALWAYS has to share with the baby (my belly). It is so cute.

She is now in LOVE with oatmeal. I eat it for breakfast and she always wants to eat it- with her fork that is….. so we are working on the spoon.

I forgot I NEVER posted her Christmas dress pictures!!!!! Thanks Nancy for the cute dress and thanks mother for the pictures.

She looks SO SO SO big!!!!

Her new favorite place in the clothes basket. She loves to sit in there and read books and put all her toys in there and push it around.

She now sees a camera and says “Cheese” it is SO cute!!!! she could live on Mac and Cheese also I think……

We got her a pillow pet and she LOVES it!!!! She just lays on it. When it is close to nap time she lays down and says “Nigh Nigh mama” and then heads up the stairs. She really is the best kid.

She LOVES books. She is always sitting somewhere reading them. I need to find her a little chair to sit in.

She is getting better with coloring. I got her a Winnie the Pooh coloring book and she LOVES it. “colo mama, colo” she says every time she finds the book or the crayons.

She found her sun glasses in the diaper bag and LOVES to wear them. She just laughs and laughs and says “boo” when she takes them off.

We are FINALLY getting hair!!!!! I need to make some little bows because the day we put piggies in she about had a come apart that she did not have a bow in…… She is ALL girl.

She just figured out that her finger fits in her nose. When I tell her to get that finger out of your nose she says "no" and starts crying, big crocodile tears with a HUGE bottom lip. SHE is becoming a sensitive soul.

She almost has the stairs mastered. Going up has never been a problem, but coming down is another story….. We are a week with no falls so that is good:)( knock on wood)

She LOVES to Rock-a-Rock. She had taken to waking up at all hours of the night calling “mama…mommy rock-a-rock” So I have stopped rocking her in the middle of the night since she thinks it is fun and she has gone back to sleeping. We now rock lots during the day while we read books.

She LOVES her toys. We put most of her toys in the cupboard under the counter in the dining room. She fits in the cupboard and loves to climb in.

I sure do LOVE this girl and LOVE being her mom. It is the BEST!!!!!

Love you Brynlee. It is so much fun to see you grow and learn new things EVERY day!!!!! you are going to be a GREAT big sister!!!!!

La Verkin 2011

We had our annual Squire family trip down to La Verkin. ( it is north-east of St. George. ) Jordan got done with school at 5 pm on Thursday so instead of leaving then we left Friday morning at 4am. Jordan was such a trooper. He drove while the rest of us slept. My parents are out of town so we brought Makall along. Here is Brynlee at 4 am…… She went right back to sleep and woke up in Cedar City.

As we got to the house Cheryce was carting her children to the insta-care, one with pink eye and one with strep….. so fun. Good thing for anti-biotics :) Maddie, my 11 year old niece, had a soccer tournament so we went to her game. She did great. Then it was off to the park. Brynlee LOVED it!!!!! I had a little migraine so I just laid on the grass. Jordan loved playing with her :)

Jordan loved the park as much as Brynlee. I love this picture of her little crossed legs. We were at a baseball game.

We also went to the Jacob Hamblin home. It was very interesting and basically the nicest pioneer house I have ever seen. Jordan got to work in the car while we toured the house. Lucky boy.

Saturday was rainy. ( at least we missed the snow ) So we went to the swimming pool in Washington. Brynlee was a little afraid at first but then remembered she loved the water. It was crazy humid in there and my camera was freaking out. so that is why the pictures are blurry.

she looks so cute in her 6-12m size swim suit. ( I am sure the ones from last summer will still fit her ) She quacks like a duck when she wears it. She looks so big in these picture!!!

Brynlee did not want us to hold her…. so needless to say she tipped over a few times, but no worries we were very close and she never even cried. There was water slides and she LOVED going on them with Jordan.

We are SO excited for summer since Boo LOVES slides and swimming. We got passes to raging water ( seven peaks slc) for this summer so it should be fun. Me and the baby Deuce will just relax and Jord and Brynlee will swim,

We all made it to the 9am church ( I know AMAZING huh. 8 adults and 10 kids) After church we just hung around and took it easy….. Poor Izzy dislocated her elbow so Kevin and Alysia had to go wait 2 hours at the insta-care….. No fun.

Snack time. I love Max he is SO cute……. And this is sad Izzy before she got her elbow fixed :(

Brynlee has to have EVERY thing on a fork, cheerios crackers, gold fish…….. you name it. You can see the crackers on her fork.

We found a nice paved trail to go on a walk Sunday afternoon. It was still FREEZING!!!!! but the kids had fun.

She loved the HUGE bumpy slide. She kept saying more more!!!

Back at the house the girls learned the hoe-down throw down and we of course ate LOTS of food. ( way to go Jeff on doing the dishes :) The terrible thing was every one ( but me Jord Makall and the kids) are not eating sugar….. Don’t worry I ate my chocolate fudge brownie ice cream in front of them.

after the kids went to bed we played Ticket to Ride Europe. It was WAY fun. Jordan and I did pretty good. We tied for longest train.

Before the long ride home Brynlee went on a walk with dad. She LOVES walks , especially with dad.

drum roll……….. Brynlee finally got to turn around in her car seat for the ride home!!!!!! she LOVED seeing everything.

She really s the best kid!- Look at this face, is this the face a child should have on a 5 hour car ride??? ( she only slept about an hour or so and was an angel!!!!! )She started getting mad in bountiful.- but by then we all wanted to be home.

we had a great time!! Thanks for coming Makall and thanks Squire family for a great time!!!! – we did miss Ty and Al and the Steeds…… maybe next year :)
