Jordan’s new project…

Last summer we got a deal on a Lifetime swing set. So we set half of it up last summer. Well this summer we decided to put up the rest and make it a permanent fixture in the yard. Jordan moved it and rented a sod cutter one Saturday. He cut up the sod and moved it. – Yes we know we JUST planted ALL that grass, but at the time of the grass planting a swim set was like 5 yrs away in our plan. SO when plans change so does the yard:)

We had the cement guys come and put a nice tall border around it.

The kiddos still loved playing on it even though it was in a new place for a while.

Saturday Jordan finished putting it up. The kids are in HEAVEN!!!! We now have to decide what type of ground cover we want under it. Probably wood chips but we will see. Jordan LOVES putting things together and was out every night working on it- even in the rain.

WAY to go Jordan!!!! I am SO looking forward to having a “park” in my fenced back yard :)

Park Adventure

We took advantage of another warm day and went to the “big park” as the girls call it.

Grant LOVES the swing.

Grandma Linda came with us and was helping Grant figure out this walking thing….

Grandma said“Step Step”..Grant would repeat “Step Step” and start to move his feet!! YAHOO progress.

Brynlee was a monkey and Loved climbing…

Sliding with Grandma Linda. Grant was nervous sliding by himself or with Brynlee. He liked sliding on grandma’s lap best.

We walked over to Surf-n-Swim since Makall was at work and got a candy bar. Some one LOVED his kit kat….

We are SO ready for the warm weather :)

Hair cuts

I needed a hair cut, so I took the kiddos along for a trim. Grant came but I cut his hair so he just watched.

Brynlee was excited to get a little trim..

After her trim Dannette asked what she wanted, she said curls….. She looks WAY too old!!!

Avery was excited for a trim too. she also picked curls after her trim….

I chopped mine, but don’t have a picture :) These girls are getting SO big :)

Grant’s 1 year pictures….

This boy melts my heart. He is such a stud and I just LOVE HIM!!! Here are some pictures Mother got the other day :)

Good News……

The real reason I have done 20 + blog posts in the past 2 weeks……..
We are so excited to announce Baby #4 !!! This little peanut will be joining our family Sept 12th…ish…

We have known for a while, but didn’t tell the kids until we were ready for EVERYONE to know. They have actually been good :) Brynlee gets SO excited and says “Grant would LOVE a baby Brother” and Avery keeps saying “ Mom it is 2 sisters” – I constantly reminder that the Dr only saw 1 baby in my belly :)
I have been my usual dead self :( But I tried to be a little more prepared this time around. Since Jordan was in Savoir of the World and was gone so much I made TONS of Freezer meals in preparation for the first trimester of death. SO my family has not been going hungry.
Jordan is a rock star and has totally picked up the slack. I basically do nothing some days and he is so good to help as much as is needed.
The baby only likes Chinese food, Jamba Juice and golden Oreos….
We were able to tell Kim and Nancy before they left for Africa. Jordan is so clever. We had just gone to the temple with them and were riding in the elevator to our car and the conversation went something like this…
Jordan : “You are coming to Grant’s party tomorrow right”
Papa Kim :“Of course”
Jordan: “ Good you won’t miss our next 1st birthday party either”
-Silence and a bunch of people got on the elevator
Kim and Nancy “ What?!?!? CONGRATULATIONS”
It was so fun. :) We are glad we can Skype them and send lots of pictures :)
I am feeling it is a boy, I am almost 15 weeks and starting to turn the corner. We find out the beginning of April what we are having and are so SO SO excited :)

March fun stuff….

We took advantage of the few warm days we have had and headed to the park. The kiddos LOVE it :)

Brynlee and I went and saw Alice in Wonderland at the elementary school It was fun

Brynlee wanted her pictures by the red roses.

Brynlee went in and had her cavity filled. I was very nervous but my sweet neighbors calmed me down the night before at Relief Society.  I was glad they said that their kids get kind of weird on the gas, because Brynlee TOTALLY did.

She was so brave but started crying when they put the gas on her, I thought this could only end badly. But once that gas was flowing she was so relaxed. She was talking SO LOUD to the Dentist and answering all his questions – SO not like my shy quiet Brynlee. It was funny.  She did great and we were in and out in 30 minutes :) Way to go Brynlee!

These 2 kiddos are becoming better friends. Avery is FINALLY learning she can’t use a scary voice or hit him.
