Laverkin - Adventure

** Sorry that this is taking so long to post and that I have not posted in a while. Jordan takes the laptop with him to school and our other computer is not so good **

After The Mud Hike Cheryce and Jeff got there with the chillins. We went to the park and played on the toys and played four square. Jeff Dominated.

Hanging upside down. Yes that is Papa Kim on the Left hand side :)

I should be a tight rope walker.

Hanging around..........

Saturday morning we all went on a "hike". There was a paved trail that we decided to take. It was lots of fun and was a nice day. It turned out to be a longer hike then we thought...... ( thanks Cheryce :) ) So we had to send the men back to go get the cars since the kids could not walk any more. We had a fun time laying in the parking lot.
Every one on the hike ( minus Tyler, Alison and Kate)

Some of the beautiful girls. We forgot Ada's coat ....So she had to use grandmas.

We stopped on the trail to have a snack. Luckily there was a golf course we could sit on.

There were many things I LOVED about this trip. The pork chop breakfast, going to In-N-Out and I am going to say the best thing was that I BEAT Tyler at a board game!!!!!! This is a huge accomplishment for me. Jordan and I love to play board games with Tyler and Alison. We always just have played for Second place because Tyler always wins. This trip changed all that. Jordan won at Speed Scrabble, I won at Ticket to Ride, and Alison won at Settlers of Catan. Now Tyler and I did tie, but I won the tie breaker so I am counting this as a win!!!! Thanks for the great game Tyler.

Sunday Cheryce and Alysia's Families went to Las Vegas. It was a quiet day full of naps and board games, Wii games, and ALMOST fondue :)

Here are some pictures from Sunday. This picture proves that baby Kate is really the best Baby EVER!!!!

Monday we went to Fiesta Family Fun Center and rode the go carts. It is always fun.

Me and Maddie

This is a funny picture because the spikes on Jordan's head are from the Palm tree behind him.

On our way home we stopped at In-N-Out Burger. Man was that DELICIOUS!!!!!!! I have never eaten so much in my life......and I would do it again.

Me with all the food( don't worry I only ate 1 2x2 animal style and 1 fry animal style

We ate out in the parking lot across the street because it was so crowded. It was a great end to a great trip!!!!!!

La Verkin Adventure- The Hike.....

Our trip to La Verkin will be in at least 2 posts. I have lots of pictures and we had lots of fun .

Every year over President's Day weekend the Squire's go to La Verkin.( it is 20 min East of St George) Jordan and I rode down with Kim and Nancy on Thursday night.

The freeway was closed in Beaver so it made for an adventurous ride. Friday morning we had a delicious breakfast.... PORK CHOPS..... I know it sounds crazy but it was amazing :)

We then decided to go on a short hike at Zions. It was called the Watchman Trail. It was cold because of the wind. As we got farther in to the hike it got warmer. We hiked through mud, snow and more mud. It was a fun hike.

The trail should be re-named "The MUD-man Trail"

The snow......

The Mud

Nancy's shoe

My Shoe, there is 3 inch's of mud on the shoe......

Sorry the picture quality is bad, we all forgot the cameras and Jordan was the only one that had his phone.
These ones were taken from the car. It was so pretty to see the snow on the red rocks.
After the hike our shoes were COVERED in mud. Conveniently to Tahoe still had snow on it. So we took our shoes off and rubbed them in the snow.

Coraline

On Saturday Jordan and I decided that we were going to go see a movie. We decided to see "Coraline". We called Katie to see if she wanted to come and she brought Makall. The reviews I read on the movie said that you HAD to see it in 3-D. They also said that children younger then 8 should not see it. So we went to the theater. It cost an extra $2 to see the movie in 3-D ....Since you had to buy glasses. That was no big deal. The movie was really good. I enjoyed it. At about half way through however it got a little scary ( for young children not myself.......or Makall :) One by
one children started crying and parents started taking them out. It was a good show. After it was over Makall said "That was a creepy movie." I rather enjoyed it. Thanks for going to the movie with me sisters (minus Jenna ) and thanks Jordan for picking a great Show.
