Decorating for Christmas

WE LOVE decorating for Christmas.
Playing with the Nativity.
Decorating the tree.

Playing with the Christmas decor with Dad

I had Talmage's stocking almost done. I wanted it finished by December. So this is how I placed them on the fire place. I left a rather obvious space for his so every time I looked over there I would be reminded of what was missing.
December 2nd it was complete.
And hanging in its spot to be enjoyed. These stockings are my most favorite. I wish I could leave them up ALL year.
I have already purchased Baby girl's and started it. My goal is to have it done before she is born.

Thanksgiving 2015

The girls helped aunt Jenna and Grandma make pies.

They also helped Daddy make the rolls. We are a great team I mix up the dough and he rolls it all out and cuts the rolls. I am not to good with fractions so they all end up different sizes.

Drinking the butter?????
We also made a pecan pie and sweet potatoes. I was suppose to work but got called off SWEET!!!!
Avery checking out the turkey.
Getting ready to eat.

We have so much to be thankful for and are so blessed. Happy Thanksgiving.

Random Nov

Brynlee is getting some crazy long hair. It requires some crazy creative braids.. This is a snake braid since it makes an 'S'

I was lucky enough to go to a Utah Game with Nancy since Kim was in Florida. They played TERRIBLE and LOST... but I still love my Utes. We had a great time.

These boys are so silly. This basket was grant's helmet.
Everyone needed a flu shot. So we enlisted the help of Grandma Linda and Makall. Lucky for me only the boys were sad, the girls are getting so big.
With the basement practically done we moved all the toys down stairs - a post coming soon - and Grant got his new bedroom. When the new baby comes he will share it with Talmage.

I just love these smiles

Someone LOVES spaghetti... HE is DEFINITELY his mothers son.

Avery's Field Trip

Avery had a fun field trip to Bowman's Grocery Store. Here she is with her little class.
The sweet lady that does the field trips is so nice and cute with the kids.
Avery loved it.

She especially loved the giant freezer and fridge.

New Carpet - Basement update

The basement got put on hold while I was sick. We had to finish painting the banister before we could order carpet. So finally we got it all done and the new carpet ordered. We decided to carpet the entire basement, the upstairs family room, the stairs going up, and the upstairs hallway. Jordan opted to rip out the carpet. He did a great job.

Here is the before pictures. The upstairs family room. - Looks like this is where they painted our upstairs closet doors.

The kids and I + the neighbor boy we were tending were stuck in the kitchen. The carpet men were kind enough to do the family room first so we could play. They were very surprised when I said ALL the kids were mine but one. The girls checking it out.

The finished family room. We love it!!!!

Grant had to be in the pictures.

The kids are in heaven with the basement. They spend almost ALL day down there. All that is left to do is the bathroom cabinets and finish plumbing. We are SO CLOSE!!!!
