New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve started out with a trip to the doctor. Grant had this boil under his arm. It was really gross and needed to be looked at :) He was great :)

We had Café Rio for dinner and played games. Pop Pop and Jenna came out. Grandma Linda did also before she went to work. Brynlee loves Guess Who.

We taught the girls how to play rummy cube. They were good helpers.

After the kiddos went to bed –at 8 we played games until about 11 then decided to head to bed. Ya, we are getting boring in our old age.
2014 was a great year. We look forward to the adventures 2015 will bring.

Christmas 2014 part 2

After we bounced the morning away we went over to my parents so we could skype Makall in Costa Rica.

The kids opened their gifts while we waited for her to call.

Grandma made them each a calendar and a pillowcase for every holiday.

Grant got a pirate ship. He LOVES Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

After lunch we headed home so I could go to work. Jordan and the kids had fun watching Brave and playing in the bounce house. We had a great Christmas.

Christmas 2014–part 1

We had a great Christmas. Here the kids are getting everything ready for Santa.

Grant was very interested and a little confused as to what that plate of cupcakes was doing on the carpet since we have a rule that food stays on the hard floor. . :)

All the goods Santa brought. Jordan and I got a new Kitchen Aid. It is  lots bigger than the old one and is RED :)

Talmage…. Yes his stocking is FAR from being done….for sure next Christmas :)

They loved everything Santa brought them. He brings a tooth brush and their very own box of cereal.

On to more presents. The girls made us wreaths out of their hand prints at preschool :) SO cute.

Opening gifts…..

Brynlee was SO excited to give Jordan “apple candy bars”. He loves those Hostess apple pies that are BY the candy bars at Wal-Mart. That is why she calls it an apple candy bar.

A new Harry Potter shirt of course….

Brynlee loves owls- or “Hoot hoots” as she calls them. The kids all drew names. Talmage had Brynlee. He got her an owl shirt. She was SO SO SO excited.

Grant got Avery an Elsa shirt.

We got a few movies we didn’t have.

Grant didn’t love the sound of the ripping paper. He was so cute when he opened his gifts.

Avery had Grant and got him cars.

Brynlee’s sweet primary teachers gave her a gift and she waited until Christmas to open it. She was excited.

I wrapped this huge box 2 weeks ago. The girls have been trying to figure out what is in it. Well it was forgotten until last –which was PERFECT. So all the kids started to open it….

We already had the Bounce house set up in the kitchen so as they started to open Jordan turned it on.

It was a HUGE hit.


Talmage is used to all the craziness and had a nap with his new Hoot hoot.
