Pioneer day 2011

I LOVE pioneer day. I love to hear all the stories of the pioneers and remember how much they sacrificed for this AMAZING church. Since the 24th was a Sunday we had our usual dinner at the Squire’s. It was so much fun (as always) Alysia brought these giant bubble and the kids loved them

Nancy and Kim bought fire works and it was lots of fun. Brynlee was already in a grumpy mood so she went to bed.

Since Jordan had Monday the 25th off we headed to 7 peaks with Nancy, Rachelle, Ty and Al. Brynlee LOVES this place. We have been making good use of our season passes.

Brynlee does pretty good with her life jacket. She was freaking our when she was on her back it was very entertaining.

Since we had a cute prego Al and Grandma Nancy to watch the sleeping Avery we took Brynlee on the slides.We were not sure how she would do she is very adventurous… She LOVED them!!!! 

Jordan took her on the orange one first. …. She loved it.

I took her on the green one next. I thought my arm was going to fall off after carrying her and the tube all the way up. It was so fun to listen to her giggle and say “ WEEEE” the whole way down. The lines were non existent so Jordan took her on the blue slide also.

It was a super fun day. Jordan and I went on a few slides also.

Avery was a champ as always. Just slept in her car seat.

We had a picnic in the parking lot before we headed home.

After a long morning of swimming Brynlee was ready for a nap. It only lasted about 45 minutes so she was a little grumpy the rest of the day, but not to bad. We headed over to a Navajo Taco dinner at my parent.

Avery was a champ there to. She is just always so happy.

It was a great holiday! I can’t believe July is over. Time is going SO SO SO fast.

Avery’s Birth announcement…. better late then NEVER

I finally got around to making Avery’s birth announcements.

We sure love having her as part of our family and LOVE her lots!!!! We are so blessed. She is a great baby girl. Love you Avery

Swimming Swimming and MORE SWIMMING!!!!!!

Instead of like 100 swimming posts I decided to just do one. We swim almost every day. Between Surf-N-Swim, Seven Peaks, our little pool, and Gaga’s little pool Brynlee is always in the water.

Makall and Jenna both work at SNS. So it is nice to go swim for free with them. We went a few weeks ago. It was a rainy day but we had fun. We only swam about an hour then the pool closed for lightening….. this pictures says it all………….. You can tell how excited she was to have to get out of the water…..

Once we got nachos and cheese fries she was much better. Here we all are. Makall with Maddie, Me and Lauren and Jenna and Boo.

Brynlee was very excited when we got Skittles. She had to show me that all the food in her mouth was gone before she got another one. She is so funny because she now does this with EVERYTHING she eats.

Another SNS day, but this time with Daddy.

Avery came with us this time and was held by Makall most of the time, but Jenna had to get her Avery fix before we left. She is always so content when we go swimming.

We go to Seven Peaks at least once a week. ( we have season passes) Brynlee gets SO tired from all this swimming she has been taking AMAZING naps. She was VERY tired this day as you can see.

Lauren came swimming with us this day. She took us on the rope swing and few slides. It was fun.

Last week my MIL had a big swimming day complete with a double slip and slide, 2 pools, sprinklers and water balloons.

No pictures of the actual swimming because I had to swim with Brynlee, as she was a little nervous with ALL the kids around. She LOVED the pizza and watermelon for lunch.

Avery was a happy little baby. She enjoyed being passed around to all the adults. Thanks for the AWESOME day Nancy.

The next day MY cousins were in town from Denver and my Aunt and Uncle wanted to see Harry Potter with mother. So I watched their kids. Brynlee had just woken up (at 10ish) so we started the party inside while I got her fed and ready. I was worried about how she would feel about the kids playing with her toys. She did AWESOME!!! She did not even care so that is great,

CHEESE. My 3 cousins from Denver, Regan, Beca and Caleb( he is a few weeks older than Brynlee ). Ashlyn is in the middle and she is my cousin also, she lives in Hooper. I told Brynlee that these were more cousins. I have young cousins so it gets kind of confusing. :)

We headed outside for the pool and the sprinklers. Brynlee had a blast and I think the other girls did to.

Jenna came over to be my helper so that was great.

I have been taking advantage of living so close to mother. I try and walk over there as much as I can. ( I usually make her take us back – yes I am lazy :) ) So after one of our many walks over to Mother's Brynlee wanted to swim.

She has SO Much fun. I LOVE to see her so happy.

Jordan came over after work and he walked back home :) ( I drove his car :) )

Avery was sure a happy girl that day. – but she always is :)

There is an update on all our swimming adventures. We have had so much fun. Every day Brynlee wants to swim, and every night in her prayers she wants it to be sunny so she can swim. She is SO much fun!!!!!

Kangaroo Zoo Adventure

Last Monday we went to a combine birthday for 2 of my sweet nieces. Ada turned 5( on the 22nd) and Kate (her sister) turned 3 ( on the 10th).

We went to Kangaroo Zoo to celebrate both the birthdays. Brynlee was scared at first. Jordan finally got her playing. But once I got there (after I finished feeding the Avery) she lost it……. She would just walk around crying my mommy….

We stated putting her down the big slides. – much to our surprise she loved them and learned to climb up them.           ( always supervised, those things are TALL)

She saw one of the other kids climb up and then wanted to climb up her self ( of course the 1 time she almost falls is when we are recording) She kept telling us “ NO Brynlee” when we would try and help. She is little miss independent and so cute. I knew no one would believe me if I said that she could climb up so we had to get a video……

Yes that is me at the top. This one was the tallest one and there was no way I was letting her try and climb it by her self. So I climbed up and sent her on her way. ( I decided to follow after her and not go back down the stairs…. :) )

By the end she was LOVING it!!!! After Kangaroo Zoo we went back to Ty and Al’s for cute rainbow cupcakes and pizza. It was a great party!! – Thanks Ada and Kate for having a birthday and THANKS to Ty and Al for the great party.

Big sister = Big helper

I was giving Avery a bath and Brynlee came in the kitchen and said “ Brynlee help” So I got her on the counter and she got the tooth brush and started washing Avery’s hair. Now EVERY TIME I bath Avery she runs in and says “ Hair, Avery Hair”

 

One day I had just put the soap on Avery’s head and Brynlee put her brush right in, the brush (for the first time EVER) was promptly placed in her mouth. I said Brynlee did you just put soap in your mouth? She replied ……No, Well as she said NO a bubble started to form in her mouth. It was so funny. I laughed hard. She started crying…… oh good times with my tender hearted little girl.

Jordan asked Brynlee the other day if she wanted to hold Avery. She said “ YA, Yap(lap) floor”. So she sat down on the floor and he placed Avery on her lap. She then said “ Picture… CHEESE” ( she always holds Avery on her lap for pictures) It was so cute so I had to take a picture or 2…

This is the night Jordan got back from his week in Florida.We had gone and seen Harry Potter ( which was AMAZING!!!!!! I cried the entire movie) He was having some cuddle time with Avery.

These girls are so much fun. Brynlee loves to help with Avery and Avery ALWAYS has a smile for her big sister.
