6 Month Old..

I can’t even believe that my BABY is 6 months old. Where has the time gone??? It is crazy how my life changed just 6 months ago and it seems like it has always been this way. Being a mom is the BEST. Brynlee won’t be going to the Dr till she is almost 7 months ( thanks to a slacker mom who took forever making her 4-month appointment, so now we are trying to get back on track) So we will have to post her stats then.

I know for sure she is still little. This is her today, April 29th 2010, on her 6 month Birthday wearing a 0-3 month outfit. It fits her perfect. I love my Petite little girl.

I can’t believe how much she has changed in the past month.

She is all about her toys. She is playing with EVERYTHING!!! She used to just sit in her exo-saucer and have a hard time reaching the toys and playing with them. That time is long gone. She will play in the saucer for a good 30 minutes with NO attention needed. She is liking her jumpy chair more and more.

Brynlee still sleeps in her bouncy chair because of her reflux. She is still on Prevacid once a day and loves it. She LOVES to be swaddled and sleeps SO much better when she is. She is still sleeping ALL night and wakes up anywhere between 8 and 9 am.

I Neglected to post this a week ago but she started eating rice Cereal!!! – Last night I think she finally decided that she LOVES it. She eats a bowl every night. I guess I should start feeding her baby food…. but I just don’t want her to be so grown up….

This is when we fed her ice cream. ( yes this was before she EVER tasted cereal…. I know I am a great Mom :) ) There was no way we were getting the spoon back.

Brynlee LOVES to roll over. She just goes from her tummy to her back. I am fine with that the longer she stays put the better. I will have to get a video on here since pictures don’t say much for that.

She does, however, sit up 95% of the time with no problem. If she is tiered or gets to excited about a toy she will fall over. She is so Strong.

Brynlee was a little sick over Easter but she still was such a good baby.

She is STILL the HAPPIEST girl ever!!!!!

I do have Hair!!!!!

Brynlee hair is finally growing. I was having her sit up with her feet in the sink the other day so I could do her hair and she prefers to be IN the sink.

This is her new favorite toy….. Good thing I had just washed it... I am hoping it takes her a while to realize that if she moves it water comes out.

She is such a cutie and is getting bigger EVERY day!!!

Dress shopping

So we have been working on wedding plans basically everyday . I don’t know if I am allowed to put a picture of Katie in her dress so her is a picture of Brynlee at the dress store. Brynlee has been such a trooper. We have been running everywhere and she has been eating more and more in the car while we are out and about.

Brynlee and I have been having So much fun helping Kate with Wedding plans. We found her a dress on Thursday and it is gorgeous. It has been SO fun hanging out with mother and Katie. Girls days are the best. Thanks Mother for always springing for Lunch.

BIG NEWS!!!!

I have been waiting for a while to post this to allow my sister to tell people first-hand…………. But I can’t wait ANYMORE. My sister Katie is getting

MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!

We are so excited for her. So who is she marrying?? His name is Kendall Christensen. He is attending Med-School in California but is from Idaho.

So how did Kate meet a guy going to med school in California??? I will tell you- This story is very complicated, so it may be a little long … ( for those that were involved if I mixed something up or left something out let me know )

Mother was in Denver in December because my Aunt and Uncle that live there had a baby and they were blessing him. My aunt Megan is from Blackfoot Idaho and her family was in town for the blessing. Her Brother JC was there. JC is friends with Kendall. So Kendall was in Denver visiting some friends (I think) and called JC and wanted to say hi. Kendall went to my Aunts and met Mother.

As soon as Mother saw him she thought “I need to give him Kate’s number” – A thought which she quickly dismissed because Kate does NOT like us giving strangers her number. Kendall left and after he left My aunt and Uncle said we should set him up with Kate. There was a Knock on the door and it was Kendall. The friends he was staying with had left and he had no way to get in their house. So he asked if he could just hang out there for a while.

They gave him Kate’s number. Kendall called Kate. AND SHE ANSWERED!!! ( that is a miracle, Kate NEVER answers her phone let alone when a number she does not know calls) They met for Ice Cream in Salt lake and had a great time.

Kendall was home in Idaho for the Christmas season and drove down a few times to go on dates with Kate. He came to my parents on a Sunday and we were able to talk to him for a bit. He is a nice kid. Katie and Kendall continued there dating over Skype and the phone until Kate went and saw him in February for a week. Well, she went back the end of March for 2 weeks and here we are.

Because of Kendall’s school schedule they will be getting married June 11th!!!!!!!! And then……….. they will be moving to OREGON so he can do his rotations for school.

So My sister is getting MARRIED and MOVING to OREGON. I am SO SO SO excited for her. She is so happy.

SO since I have only met Kendall once I went on Katie’s Facebook and got a picture of them. ( Sorry Katie for being a Creeper)

Snow AGAIN???

This was Brynlee and me last week. She LOVES walks.

Utah is one crazy place – weather wise….. I am SO ready for Spring, for real, no more teaser spring days. It should be here to stay.

Target had baby swim suits for $8.00, and that means Brynlee HAD to have one. She is all ready for summertime…

Bountiful Baskets = AMAZING

So all my friends at work have been doing this for a while. Jordan and I got our Second Bountiful Basket on Saturday and it contained ALL of this…..

It is such a great deal, only $15. We get a basket every-other week because it takes us at least 2 weeks to eat all of this.

The oranges were just Brynlee’s size so she thought she needed one.

Hoppy Easter '10

We had a great Easter at the Squire house. First we went to an Easter egg hunt/ brunch at Squires Saturday morning . It was lots of fun.

So we are recent owners of the following….

This a a Roomba. It is a Robot Vacuum. This is the coolest little vacuum. Brynlee likes to watch it vacuum.

Jordan found out that he needed a Data plan for work so we are BOTH the proud new owners of a Palm Pre. These phones are the COOLEST things EVER!!!!

I am glad I have my own personal IT Husband to help me with ALL this technology.
