Quarintine time

We are looking for all the positives of being quarantined. We love all the time we get to be together, Paying video games, board games, baking cookies crafting ALL THE THINGS.

A sweet friend brought over a bag of coco puffs.

The kids were so excited.

Talmage is a camp champ of quarantine, He has yet to complain once. He does his school work and assembles Legos all day. His sisters were kind enough tot share there harry potter sets and he is in heaven putting them together.
This is how he joins our family for meals, scripture study and basically anything,

THis picture does not do it justice , but the clouds across the river looked just like mountains,
We of course had to get lunch one day from the Red Front.
Tots and pop for all

We had a coloring contest one night. Talmage picked hte picture and we all colored together over zoom.
Here is Talmages master piece.

Addy
Spencer
The family.
Every one working hard.

The Lord works in his own way and time. I never would have thought that I would enjoy quarantine with my family so much. I love having them here,

More Quarantine and distant learning.

I took Talmage first thing Sunday Morning to go get his COVID test. He needed a negative test to exit his quarantine and so back to school Monday. We were shocked when his test came back positive. He went down to the basement and the rest of the kids were quarantined. Since Jordan and I are fully vaccinated we follow different guidelines. If the kids show no symptoms they can test on Saturday to exit quarantine.

Spencer making himself at home for home church since we were unable to attend church. I am so grateful for technology. I love that I can watch church from my home.
After church we worked on a poster for Talmage.
And a warning sign for the basement door.
Avery was able to participate in a choir for school Saturday. They went to Macomb for the day and had a great time.  We were able to stream it Sunday afternoon and listen to her sing. It was lots of fun.
This is how we talk with Talmage.
He is handling the whole thing great. We are so glad he has no symptoms.
So Monday we started the day. Spencer getting help taking off the chain of out count down. We are going to the Wisconsin Dells after Christmas. They have lots of fun indoor water parks.
We had a fun day. I was able to go out to the school in the afternoon and get all the kids work for the week.
Only my kids would get right to work on Home work at 4pm. Oh how I love them.

They are great students and wanted to get all caught up.
We had family home evening via zoom with Talmage.
Tuesday we got into a great routine and the distant learning was great. The girls know when they are suppose to be on google meets with there class and the rest of the kids have there packet of papers for each day.

Spencer is in heaven with ALL the kids home.
Jordan and I were able to sneak out on a walk at night. It was  so peaceful and beautiful. I am so grateful for the peace I have in my heart through these challenging times.

More Dentist and visitors

Jenna and Grandma brought Addy back on Thursday night late. They had a great time. It was fun to have Grandma and Jenna here Friday and half of Saturday.

Brynlee helping at the Red Front for breakfast. She is taking a phone order.
Thursday afternoon we took Brynlee and Spencer to the Dentist. They did great.
Spencer was a camp champ. He let them polish his teeth and was so still and calm.

I sure love these kiddos.

A solo few days ....And 1 kid in quarantine.

It is always an adventure flying Solo, but this time was great. We went it Keokuk for pizza Monday night.

I helped the girls clean there room and they did a great job de-junking .
Talmage wrote a story about a bat.

In our Come Follow me Study this week we were studying sections 125-128. These revelations about baptism for the dead were received here in the Edward and Ann Hunter home.

How could I not walk a block and a half to it. It was windy so we did drive, but Spencer and I went on an adventure.
Nauvoo is such a special place filled with such a special spirit.
I have read the Doctrine and Covenants my entire life, but studing them this year and lovig in Nauvoo has been so special. I feel like all these pioneer are my friends andneighbors. As i study more about them I am drawn to them. It is such a special feeling.
We also had a couple dentist appointments. Grant and Avery. Spencer was a tag along.  Brynlee and Talmage rode the bus home and had piano lessons.

Bree hung out after piano and had dinner and played games.
Wednesday we got a call form the school. Talmage's teacher had just tested positive for Covid and Talmage would need to quarantine. He could test on Sunday 7th and return to school on the 8th with a negative result.
He had his own  area to sit in away from us and he had to wear his mask in the house.
He had his own table to eat at as well.
Jordan arrived home Wednesday afternoon form his off site in Lake Tahoe. He painted this picture, he called it the last bubble gum tree.
Talmage also had his own sleeping area.
He has no symptoms and is handling his isolation like a champ. Hopefully he will be back to school Monday.
