We have been looking forward to this total Solar Eclipse for 7 years. It was so fun to be out here in the mid west and only have to drive 5 hours to be in the band of totality.
We headed down to an air BNB sunday afternoon.
I can crochet while we drive wso that is nice. My leg also was ok on the drive.

We drove an hour so we could be in the band of totality. We found a great spot right off the interstate to set up our camp for the day.
We were right next to McDOnalds so we had lunch while we waited.
It was fun to hang out.
We had this awesoem app that told us when everything was happening.
it is the COOLEST THING.
The Employees at the Restaurant even went outside to watch it.
A 4 minute+ totality waas AMAZING!!!!!
THe pictures never do it justice. It is an amazing thing to experience.
After totality we piled back in the car and drove the 5 hours home. We only hit trafic for about 45 minutes. We made good time and had a great adventure.
