Fall is in the air and these trees are getting more beautiful every day.
We had to say goodbye to some friends. They were here as Senior missionaries helping with the Young Preforming Missionaries ( YPMS)
This is Elder and Sister Cottam. Elder Cottam is the director of the Nauvoo Brass band. He is also basically a magician. He had some great magic tricks to show the kids.
They in turn had a mini recital for him. Playing songs on the piano, flute and clarinet.
We are so excited that they will be back next sspring with the next cast of YPMs. These are my favorite kind of good byes, the ones that aren't really ones. e are excited to see them soon.
Here we are with Elder and Sister Cottam.
We also said see ya back in the spring to the Crumps. Oh how we loved seeing them.
WE made each one a special book filled with notes and pictures so they can remember there fun time in Nauvoo.
This week in our come follow me study we are learning about the Saints in Nauvoo and the revelation the Prophet Joseph received here in Nauvoo. This week in particular we learned about the Nauvoo house.
So we went on a field fripp down the street to see the Nauvoo House and talk about it.
The sunset was beautiful. I still can not believe that we live in Nauvoo.
Addy has been working on her fine motor skills and making bracelets.
Avery wrote me this sweet note.
We headed to the Red Front one night to finish off the caramel apple slushy.
We always have a great time.
